Dr. Brian Tallerico and his team recently performed the first robotic-assisted total knee replacement using the MAKO SmartRobotics arm at Piedmont Medical Center – Fort Mill. This state-of-the-art device provides the surgeon with a patient-specific 3-D model to preplan the surgery. Congrats to the team on this amazing accomplishment!
