Dr. Glen Feltham is dually board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, specializing in both pediatric and adult injuries. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo Medical School and completed his orthopedic residency at the renowned Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland. During his six-year residency, he also spent a dedicated research year studying skeletal stem cells and tissue healing. He went on to complete fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, working closely with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Dr. Feltham also completed an American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine mentorship with Dr. James Andrews at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, AL.
A lifelong athlete and former collegiate soccer player, Dr. Feltham has built his career around caring for athletes and active individuals of all ages. He has served as head team physician for multiple colleges and universities and has traveled internationally as a Team Physician for the U.S. National Soccer Teams. Outside of his professional roles on the sidelines, he spent years coaching all four of his children in various sports, blending his love of athletics with family life.
In addition to his clinical and sports medicine work, Dr. Feltham has served for several years on the executive board of the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association. In this role, he is deeply involved in advocacy efforts, working closely with state and federal elected officials to advance policies that support better patient care and improved access to high-quality musculoskeletal treatment. His commitment to patient-centered healthcare extends well beyond the exam room.
Dr. Feltham has been married for 36 years to his wife, Renee, who has become an integral part of the SpecOrtho family. Together they raised four children, spending countless hours at soccer fields, lacrosse games, and gymnastics meets. They remain loyal basketball fans of their alma mater, the University of Dayton, and enthusiastic supporters of The Ohio State Buckeyes, where their daughter competed as a collegiate gymnast.
