At SpecOrtho, we are vested not only in our patients, but our local communities and neighbors as well. Dr. Feltham and team spend countless hours volunteering their time on the sidelines of local sporting events, not only keeping the athletes safe but also, teaching sports medicine to student trainers. It is a passion that was instilled in Dr. Feltham growing up on athletic fields beside his father, a retired coach and teacher, while taping ankles and icing down injured athletes. He continues to teach his love of orthopaedics and sports medicine to our local high school and university Sports Medicine Students as they rotate through SpecOrtho as part of their Sports Medicine classes. During these rotations, the students are kept engaged in all aspects of orthopaedics. They learn how to evaluate and diagnose orthopaedic injuries, read radiographic images (X-rays and MRI), create treatment plans and occasionally, observe surgical procedures.

Urgent Walk-in Orthopedic Care at Fort Mill Location
Urgent Times Call For Urgent Care
In order to relieve the ER/Urgent Care staff and resources, SpecOrtho is now welcoming walk-in patients with urgent musculoskeletal injuries at our Fort Mill location. Our doctor will see all orthopaedic injuries outside of the back and neck during normal business hours. In order to maintain a safe environment for all, our facility is being cleaned and sanitized regularly and following strict CDC guidelines. Those individuals that are currently sick or have recently been exposed to COVID-19, should go directly to the local Emergency Room or Urgent Care Center for any immediate orthopaedic needs. SpecOrtho Designated as Team Doctor for Local High Schools
August 2019 – Drs. Glen Feltham and Andrea Gale, of Specialty Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (SpecOrtho), have been named the official team doctors for Clover schools, York schools, and Rock Hill HS for the upcoming 2019 – 2020 school year. Our doctors are excited to support the local athletes, to ensure they get the on-the-field and follow-up care they need!
SpecOrtho patients now have option of Pineville hospital
October 2019 – Our physician recently received approval to perform surgeries at Pineville Hospital. Per Dr. Feltham, “Although the majority of our orthopedic surgeries can be performed at free-standing surgery centers, in some instances a hospital outpatient setting is a better option for the patient. We are excited to be partnering with Atrium at their Pineville location.” Dr. Gale agrees, adding “We’re glad to be able to provide another high-quality option for our patients.”
