LeAnn H., Radiological Technician
LeAnn has been a valued member of the SpecOrtho team since 2018. Far more than “just a rad tech,” she plays a critical role in ensuring that all radiology equipment is safely maintained, properly calibrated, and operating at the highest standard. Her expertise has continued to grow, and she has recently expanded her skill set to include performing MRIs in addition to X rays.
Before beginning her radiology career, LeAnn studied business for two years at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She later transitioned into healthcare, completing a 24 month hospital based radiology program. She holds her national certification through the ARRT along with multiple state licenses. Prior to relocating to the Charlotte area, she spent 24 years working as a radiologic technologist in both hospital and outpatient settings in Indianapolis.
When she’s not in the office, LeAnn loves spending time with her family—especially her two precious granddaughters, who are the highlight of her life. On her days off, she often visits them to give her daughter some well deserved time to herself, and she relishes the chance to play with them, spoil them, and enjoy all the joys of being a grandma. Her parents frequently join her on these visits, giving LeAnn treasured time with them as well.
LeAnn also finds deep fulfillment in her work. She loves seeing patients thrive as they recover from injury—her favorite part of working in a doctor’s office rather than a hospital or imaging center. Being part of their healing journey is something she never takes for granted.
