Emily A., Medical Receptionist and Social Media Content Coordinator

Emily Anderson serves as a Medical Receptionist and Social Media Content Coordinator at SpecOrtho, where she brings compassion, professionalism, and a true passion for patient care. A proud graduate of South Pointe High School and a member of the very first graduating class of 2008, Emily spent her formative years in the Rock Hill School District deeply involved in the band community. From marching band to concert band, jazz band, winter percussion, and winter guard, she participated in nearly every ensemble available—experiences that fostered her commitment, teamwork, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.

After spending six years in Greenville, SC, Emily recently returned to the greater Charlotte area to be closer to her family and reconnect with the community that has been central throughout her life. Her professional background began in customer service and retail, where she became a familiar face in local malls—especially during her time at Bath & Body Works. Her natural ability to connect with people seamlessly translated into the medical field, where she discovered a deeper sense of purpose.

During her time working in a mental health private practice in Greenville, Emily found immense fulfillment supporting patients with empathy and helping them feel heard and cared for. Prior to joining SpecOrtho, she also served as a Leasing Manager for an international property management company. Although she excelled in that role, she felt drawn back to healthcare, where the personal, human‑centered nature of the work better aligned with her values.

At SpecOrtho, Emily combines her administrative expertise, communication skills, and genuine care for others to help ensure every patient receives exceptional orthopaedic support from their very first interaction.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys rediscovering the Charlotte area she grew up around, attending live music of all kinds, and relaxing with old‑school video games and card games. She is an only child, a proud cat mom to two beloved felines, and has shared four wonderful years with her partner.
